I am a 30 year Marine, now retired, who is amazed on those rare weeks when I make it from confession to communion with out having to start confession over. I try, but the whole love thy neighbor thing is tough. Especially in the Episcopal Church of today. Jesus said go and sin no more. The church of today says don’t worry about your sin, we accept it, just fill our pews. I have a good minister. I don’t know what I will do when he retires. But, in view of what this site is about, and with more than religious values and freedoms in mind, I will always resort to ‘Fix Bayonets’.

I like to keep eternity in mind, but our final destiny depends in large part on what we do here. Having the freedom to make good choices seems like a good place to put some efforts.
