Distribution

Fox News Covering Courage, New Hampshire

What a week — lots of DVDs loaded up in big postal containers, a media storm from both friendly and hostile voices, and a lot of talk, by everyone about something called “distribution.”

Well, we’re happy to say we’re talking to lots of heavy-weights on that front and there is a possibility “Courage” could end up on a cable channel, but there are a few reasons we’re being lesiurely about it.

First of all, we had the means to make the first episode without having to debate the storyline with anyone but ourselves — and that was hard enough.    We wanted to talk to cable and internet delivery networks after we had shown them what you all think of the story, since who, really, would listen to a pitch from someone as cranky as your correspondent?   (And new to the business as well.)

Second, everything seems to be changing.   We’ve gone from 3 big corporate networks, to hundreds of cable channels, to potentially millions of web-based television networks.  Tonight’s departure of Glen Beck from Fox to his own web-based video delivery network is a signal that these possibilities are being considered by the big boys, and not just the small time production companies who wait for Cable channels to return their calls.

The truth is that we want Courage to prove itself and make enough money so that we can make each new episode, so until we have our network home, by all means, buy a DVD today!
